> RESURGENCE FESTIVAL!!

This is happening early this term - it's a weekend event geared for youth, young adults, under 40's and all young at heart . Everyone in our Diocese has been invited and we're looking forward to a rocking weekend with God, Mike Pilavachi, City of light and a whole heap of other special guests as well as ThreeG paintball and LAN, inflatable fun, Spanish food and more... Please advertise to your youth and consider bringing a group along to join the party if you can. Click here to register.

> YOUTH EVENTS

We'll be looking to hold more FUSE youth and young adult events this year. Click here for more details on what FUSE is all about and if your youth group would like to host an event, please contact the Youth Coordinator to talk dates.

> YOUNG LEADER PROJECT

We're looking to boost this initiative from 2011 this year and open it up to all of our youth leaders. It'll be more regular on a night that suits and will hopefully have regional links as well - there's also talk of a leaders retreat or weekend attached. It's under construction as we speak but to check out what we did last year and to think over what could be please click here. Excellente.

> RESOURCES TO BORROW

We have a stack of youth ministry resources in the Youth Unit office available to borrow. A selection can be found under resources on this site. If you'd like to borrow any, we can post them to you. If you've borrowed resources in the past please ensure to return them afterwards so others can make use of them. Thank you!

> THE NELSON YOUTH UNIT

The Nelson Anglican Diocese covers the top of the south island of New Zealand, from Kiakoura on the east coast, across to Kumara on the west and everywhere else in between. We have four regions within our patch, Nelson, Waimea (Tasman), Marlborough and Mawhera (the mighty West coast).

  > OUR DIOCESE YOUTH VISION

To have young people passionate about their faith in Christ; excited by the church as an expression of their faith and fully engaged at every level of church life.

'Raising up the next generation with a passion for Christ'

  > THE YOUTH COORDINATOR: LUKE SHAW

The Youth Unit coordinator's role is to support, resource, equip and encourage the parishes, leaders and youth ministries represented within our four regions. That we would be determined to raise up the next generations together.

If you'd like to chat over any youth ministry related matters at your place or book in a coffee sometime to meet with Luke, please head to the 'Contact us' section of the web site and email or phone or visit to say hi.
